A CLIPPER SCHOONER. -- The Milwaukee Sentinel says the new schooner CLIPPER CITY, built at Manitowoc, during the past winter, by W.W. Bates, and owned by Mr. Plate, came into our port last week for a load of provisions. She is a craft of 185 tons burthen, lightly sparred, but with unusual breadth of beam, considerable rise of floor, good storage and a flaring bow. The CLIPPER CITY looks as if she could travel and carry with anything afloat. She made the run from Chicago to that port [90 miles] in seven hours.
