LAUNCHES. - The barkentine De SOTO, R.K. Winslow owner, was launched yesterday evening from the yard of Peck & Masters. She measures 160 98-100 feet keel; 33 6-10 feet beam; 11 72-1000 feet hold; tonnage 583 69-95. She will be ready for sailing as soon as through navigation is open. Capt. A. Davis will sail her. She is regarded by experts as a staunch and beautiful vessel.
      The fore-and-after BALTIC, W.T. Richmond, of Racine, owner, is ready, or nearly so, for the water. She measures 136 58-100 feet keel; 26 3-100 feet beam; 11 9-100 feet hold; tonnage 367 53-95. She is built by the same sterling builders, Peck & Masters, and will be sailed by Capt. John Watson. - Cleveland Herald, 11th.

      LAUNCH. - This evening Peck & Masters at their yard on the old river will launch one of the finest vessels ever built at this port, in fact she may be said considering her dimensions, capacity, strength and beauty to be the best one ever launched here. She is built for Rufus K. Winslow, and is called the DeSOTO. She is barque rigged, with keel 162 feet, beam 33 feet 9 inches, depth of hold 11 feet 9 inches, and by Custon House measurement is 583 and 69-95th. tons burthen. She has four hatches, and is calculated to carry 25,000 bush. of wheat, or 27,000 bush. of corn. She is built under the direct superintendence of Capt. B.A. Stannard, than whom few men are more competent or experienced. Her cost will not fall far short of $25,000. She is designed for the grain carrying trade of the upper lakes, and will be cammanded by Capt. Alfred Davis, of this city, lately master of the schooner PHALAROPE, who has sailed out of this port for at least sixteen years. She will be launched about six o'clock this evening. - Cleveland Herald, 11th.
