VESSEL SALES. - The schooner DREADNAUGHT, 412 tons burthen, and not long since rescued from the beach on Lake Huron, has been sold by the underwriters at Cleveland to Capt. Grummond, of Detroit, on private terms. . . . .
      Buffalo Commercial Advertiser
      Saturday, September 16, 1871

It is understood that the Waterworks Commission has purchased the old barge DREADNAUGHT to be loaded with stone and sunk on the north side of the crib. It is thought that she will not hold together long, as she is too large for the place.
