NEW VESSELS. - The Green Bay Advocate says a new vessel, named the PESHTIGO of 625 tons burthen, has been built at that port by Wolf & Lawrence during the past winter. She is 164 feet in length, 12 1/2 feet hold, and 23 feet beam, and will carry 28,000 bushels of grain or 400,000 feet of lumber.
The Detroit Free Press says the new fore & aft schooner SWALLOW, of 395 tons burthen, length 143 feet, beam 26 1/3 feet, hold 11 1/2 feet, with a carrying capacity for 20,000 bushels of corn, was launched on Tuesday afternoon from the ship-yard of Messrs. Campbell & Owen of Detroit.
The Milwaukee Sentinel says one of the largest class of barks is being built at Manitowoc by G.S, & E.K. Rand for Platt & Vilas, of Manitowoc and Foster & Hardenburg, of Chicago. She will cost, when complete, about $25,000. -(Chicago Board of Trade)
The schooner ELEDER, [ELIDA] a new vessel of about 250 tons burthen, was launched at Milwaukee Saturday last.

The ELIDA. - The ELIDA is the name of a fine craft built at Milwaukee, and of about 12,000 bushel capacity. She will be commanded by Capt. Thomas Lord. Her tonnage is 275 Custon House measurement. - Detroit Free Press.
