LAUNCHES. - The new barque, built for S.V.R. Watson, was launched on Saturday afternoon at 4 o'clock from the ship yard of Mr. Jones. The new propeller, EMPIRE STATE, built for Charles Ensign, to run in the Peoples Line, was launched at 20 minutes to 5, P. M. The announcement of the affair attracted a large concourse of people who witnessed the launch with evident satisfaction. The EMPIRE STATE is a splendid specimen of naval archtitecture, and sits on the water like a bird.
