Full Text

SCHOONER GAME COCK. - This is the name of the last of the large fleet turned out this season from the extensive building yard of Mr. F. N. Jones. She is 115 feet in length, 26 feet beam, 10 feet depth of hold, and about 290 tons burthen Her cost is $12,500, and she is now fitting out by E. K. Bruce for the Lake Navigation Company. She is one of the finest models afloat, and this is saying considerable, when we take into account the numerous fine vessels already turned out at this port this season. The commander is not yet determined upon.
