Referring to the alleged trouble on the docks on Saturday between the excursion boats, Capt. James P. Fontaine of the stm. SHREWSBURY asks the Express to publish his side to the case. Here it is:
"The facts of the case are entirely contrary of those published and are as follows: The stm. HARRISON arrived first from down the river, and was entitled to the choice of the dock: the SHREWSBURY came next and the ISLAND BELLE about 15 minutes later. The HARRISON did not want the vacant place and it, of course, fell to the SHREWSBURY, and which I, as captain, proceeded to take. Mr. Beszer then threatened to get even, and has taken a misleading way of doing so.
