Propeller HER MAJESTY was launched broadside into the Canal November 5th. She is owned by Perry, Black & Co. of Toronto. Her dimensions are: Length of keel, 181 feet; beam 30 feet; depth of hold 12 feet 4 inches. 670 tons carpenter measure. A vertical low pressure engine working at right angles to propeller shaft (engine details given), machinery to be built by Davidson & Doran, of Kingston, designed by S. Risely, Toronto.
