A report has been very generally circulated along the wharves that the stm. ROBERT HOLLAND had been taken over to Windsor to get her out of the reach of the U.S. officials. Investigation shows that such is not the case, but on the contrary the Star Line Co., former owners of the HOLLAND, have sold her to the Northern Canadian Transit Co. for $26,000 cash, and that she is clear of all liabilities. She took on her clearance papers, the first of the season, from this port in the regular manner, and is to run between Owen Sound and Sault Ste. Marie, a route for which she is eminently well adapted.
