The new vessel HATTIE HOWARD was built at Port Huron for Fitzgerald & Howard, her builders. Her dimensions are as follows: Length 146 ft.; breadth of beam 26 ft.; depth of hold 11 ft.; measurements, new style 271 tons. She cost in the neighborhood of $25,000 and in strength, durability and model has few superiors on the lakes. Her standing rigging is wire of the best make.
