Maritime History of the Great Lakes

Keystone State (Steamboat), 9 Mar 1852

Description
Full Text

The splendid stm. KEYSTONE STATE, W.P. Stone, commander, arrived safely at our wharves, on Sunday last, from Malden. She reports some floating ice in the river, but not enough to impede navigation. We welcome this magnificent boat, back to Detroit, and trust that she will receive during the season, as she deserves, the "golden opinions" of thousands of the traveling community, on her old route between Dunkirk and Detroit.
