LAUNCH. - The Toronto North American says -- That enterprising ship-builder Louis Shickluna, Esq., will Thursday next, launch a fine barque of over 400 tons burthen. She will fill the locks to their utmost capacity. The length over all is 14 feet (sic), 26 feet 2 inch beam, and 10 feet 6 inches depth of hold. She is owned by Messrs. Carridice & Berryman. Mr. Shickluna intends building at Niagara in the ensuing winter and spring, two large lake steamers of 300 feet keel each, and one of 200 feet. Three months is the time allowed for building each.
