Capt. McGifford will sail Hardison's new schooner the JENNIE MATHEWS launched yesterday at 3 P.M. She is owned by Mr. Hardison. She started very slowly and succeeded with the help of some men pulling by ropes in getting off nicely. She is a fine looking schooner, built after the same model at the MARY LYON and was very much admired by the crowds of people assembled on each side of the Black River to see her off.
