THE MAY QUEEN. - This fine new boat (says the Detroit Tribune) left last evening for Cleveland, on her first regular trip. She is a beautiful specimen of Michigan shipbuilding, and will compare favorably with any steamer of her class on the lakes. Her dimensions are as follows:- Length of keel, 220 feet breadth of beam, 29 feet 8 inches; depth of hold, 11 feet; tonnage, 700. Her engine, which was manufactured by Messrs. DeGraff & Hendrick, is 11 feet stroke and 45 inches in diameter. Her cabins are fitted up in the most sumptuous style, and the furniture is of the most splendid description. She was built at Trenton, is owned by Mr. John Owen, Capt. Davis, and Capt. Evans and is commanded by the latter gentleman.
