MARINE REPAIRS. - The majority of the Western Transportation Company's propellers are now undergoing thorough repairs, preparatory to the hard service which will be required of them during the coming season. The MOHAWK, which was so nearly demolished by the explosion of last fall, and has been under the hand of the ship-carpenters all winter, is neary made whole again, and will be ready to resume her trips on, or at least shortly after, the opening of navigation.
The MARY STEWART is being partially provided with new decks and arches, and new stern is being put into the MAYFLOWER. The FREE STATE's main deck is being rejuvenated, and an arch is in process of construction in her hold. The MISSOURI will have a boiler deck; the SAGINAW will be thoroughly overhauled, and the schooner CAIRO is also to be subjected to sundry repairs.
