Buffalo Ship Yards. - The remarkably mild weather of the last few weeks, has been very favorable for work in the ship yards, and has been well improved.
At Mason & Bidwell's yard, two hundred men are constantly employed.
The propeller OCEAN, of the Erie Railroad Line, and the propeller ACME, owned by Chas. Ensign, are being rebuilt almost entirely. The propeller SCIOTA and the schooner CONTEST are being thoroughly overhauled and repaired, and when these are finished, the schooners SOPHIA SMITH, RACER, METROPOLIS, GEO. W. HOLT and the brig WILLIAM TREAT are to be hauled out, caulked, overhauled and thoroughly repaired for the spring business.
