ANOTHER ---The MILWAUKEE, a splendid boat of 400 tons, will be launched at the ship yard on Grand Island in a few days. She is designed for a "crack boat," to ply regularly between Buffalo and Chicago. The floating palaces on our inland seas will vie with those on any other waters, for speed, elegance, convenience and safety.

TRIP TO GRAND ISLAND. -- Many pleasant incidents transpired in the excursion of Mr. Webster and the citizens of Buffalo to Grand Island, although the launch of the MILWAUKIE proved a failure. The boat could not be got off, though the next day she left the ways in fine style. Notwithstanding this diaappointment, hilarity and good cheer prevailed at the repast spread by the proprietors of the Island for a large dinner party. -- part.

Another - We had a novelty on our waters this morning, the MILWAUKIE, a new Buffalo boat. Her model is unique on western lakes - no upper works forward, no masts or bowsprit, and a single chimney. her hull long, wedge-like, with wide, roomy guards. She is a passenger boat, numbers about 150 berths, and is elegently finished and furnished. The MILWAUKIE looks like a clipper, and crack boats must raise the steam to lead her next spring. However, we boast the CLEVELAND, yet.
