Mineral Rock (Propeller), 3 May 1856

The new propeller, built in Buffalo for Sheldon McKnight, of this city, has been christened MINERAL ROCK. Her dimensions are 170 ft. keel, 27 ft. beam and 11 1/2 ft. hold; will register something over 500 tons. She is to run between Cleveland and Ontonagon. The following is a list of her officers: master, Joh Frazer, mate O. Lester; clerk, T.C. Robinson; Engineer, Joh Starks.
