A number of gentlemen connected with the steamers on the Western Rivers, who were passengers on the MISSISSIPPI, on her recent excursion from Buffalo to Detroit, have published a card, in which they congratulate Capt. Hazard upon his possenssion of so fine a boat; and extend to him, his officers, and the lake fraternity, a cordial invitation to visit them upon the great Father of Waters.
