The canal boat GEORGE M. O'BRIEN, a first class lake boat, was launched this afternoon from Baker's shipyard. She is expected to carry 8,000 bu. wheat. The boat is named after the son of Thomas J. O'Brien of A.P. Wright & Son's office.
