Maritime History of the Great Lakes

Ocean (Brig), 19 May 1845

Description
Full Text

The brig OCEAN is to take in a load of Michigan produce from this port, proceed at an early day through the Welland Canal and down the St. Lawrence and thence along the Atlantic coast to the West Indies. They will there probably sell not only their cargo but their vessel. This is yet destined to be a considerable and important branch of trade. - Detroit Adv.
