The Express understands that the contract for building the two steamers for the Michigan Central Railroad Company has been given to Mr. English, and that they are to be put up at Tonawanda, the frames to be built in New York. They are to be of the same dimensions of the QUEEN OF THE WEST and CRESCENT CITY, with the exception of the breadth of beam, which is to be larger, and we agree with the Express when it says that they will not equal those boats for beauty of model or speed.
