Description
Full Text

The excursion season opened with a rush yesterday. Early in the morning crowds were at the dock awaiting the sailing of the first boat for the beach resorts. The Crystal Beach boat had an unusually large crowd to handle. The large stm. PURITAN was the only boat on the run and it is said she carried over 5,000 persons to the beach. The boat, notwithstanding the heavy traffic, got away on schedule time. The NIAGARA took a goodly number of excursionists to Woodlawn Beach during the day.
