LAUNCH. -- The QUEEN OF THE WEST, one of the magnificent palaces building by Messrs. Burwell, Banta & Co., for M.O. Roberts, of New York, will be launched on Saturday, at 10 A.M.. The QUEEN OF THE WEST will be commanded by Capt. D.H. McBride, one of the best seamen on the lakes.

      LAUNCH. - A large assemblage of our citizens cheered the QUEEN OF THE WEST as she made her maiden plunge into her destined element on Saturday. She is a remarkably handsome vessel and worthy to bear up the name of our Buffalo steam marine.

      The new stmr. QUEEN OF THE WEST, now building at Messrs. Bidwell & Banta's shipyard, for A.O. Roberts, of New York, and to run between this city and Cleveland, was launched this morning in the presence of a large concourse of people. She went off in fine style, and rides beautifully on the water. - Buffalo Commercial, 12th.
