Full Text

The new stm. RUBY of the Messrs. Ward, is now ready for service, and will enter the line to Port Huron, by the first of September. Her upper works are nearly completed, and will be finished in the most tasteful and sumptuous style. The engine is one of the best upon the waters, and was made at the foundry of the enterprising firm of DeGraff and Kendrick. She is intended to be the equal in speed of any of the lake boats.
