Samson (Tug), 16 Nov 1867

Description
Full Text

The tug SAMSON has just brought in a raft of 700,000 ft. of long timber belonging to Messrs. Loud, Priest & Gay. The raft started from Au Sauble River on Wednesday, the 13th, and reaching Port Huron on Thursday, having stopped at Tawas Bay, Port Austin and Sand Beach. Great credit is dur Capt. Keeler, of the SAMSON, for his skillful management in bringing a raft through such a storm without the loss of a stick.
