LAUNCHES---MORE NEW VESSELS
      The TONAWANDA is the name of a new propeller launched at the shipyard of B.B. Jones on Monday last. She has been built for the Western Transportation Company and will be commanded by Capt. Palmer, formerly of the propellers CATARACT and MAY FLOWER. Her dimensions are; length 200 feet; breadth of beam 32 feet; depth of hold 13 feet, and will measure about 800 tons. She was yesterday at the derrick receiving a portion of her machinery and boilers--all of which were built by the Buffalo Steam Engine Company. She is in all respect a first class propeller, and is intended for the Buffalo and Chicago trade.
      Mr. Jones aso launched a fine schooner for E.K. Bruce, which goes into the Lake Navigation Company. She is named the MESSENGER, and is of the following dimensions; length 136 feet; breadth 26 feet, and depth of hold 10 feet 6 inches and will register 350 tons. There are also at this yard three new schooners building for Mixer & Bro., which are now ready, and will be launched today or tommorow. They are all of them nearly rigged and ready for sea. The STORM KING, is 130 feet long; 28 feet 3 inches breadth, and 11 feet hold, and will register 380 tons. She is to be commanded by Capt. Murray.
      The RACER is of the same tonnage and measurement, and will be sailed by Capt. Merriam, and the third the :-- PEYTONA of 380 tons and same measurement, will be under the charge of Capt. Cook. These vessels will be put into the Lake Navigation Company.
      F.N. Jones launched within a day or two the schooners, CORRESPONDENT, the RESOLUTION, and W.B. HIBBARD. These vessels are about 370 tons each, and were built for Niles & Kinne, and go into the Lake Navigation Company.
      The KATE HAYES is the name of a handsome fore-and-after, launched at noon yesterday from E.K. Bruce's yard, of about 350 tons.
      Geo. Hardison launched a day or two since a fine schooner for her owner who resides at Erie. We coud not learn her name.

      MORE LAUNCHES.- B.B. Jones launched on Tuesday last the schooner STORM KING of 375 tons--yesterday the schooner RACER of the same tonnage, and will launch on tommorow the SAN JACINTO. All of the vessels have been built for Mixer & Bro., and go into the Lake Navigation Co.
