We recently saw at the dock, near E.K. Bruce's, the new schr. GERRITT SMITH, recently launched at Bidwell & Banta's yard. She is a fine, staunch looking vessel of the following dimensions: Keel 137 ft.; beam 26 ft.; hold 11 ft.; and of about 350 tons burthen. She belongs to Mr. S.J. Holley of Oswego, and Mr. Sanderson, of Milwaukee, and is intended for the grain trade between the former place and the upper lakes. - Buff. Comm. Advertiser, 24th.
