St. Lawrence (Steamboat), 12 Apr 1853

Description
Full Text

Capt. John J. Hollister's new steamer, the ST. LAWRENCE, was launched at Buffalo on the 7th, from the ship yard of the Messrs. Jones. She went off in fine style, amid the cheers of thousands who had assembled to witness the sight. She sits beautifully in the water, and is one of the best specimens of ship building ever put afloat.
