The Canadian prop. STEINHOFF, lately running at the Sault, arrived yesterday and is reported to have been bought by Mr. Barrett of Fort Erie, for the ferry route between Amherst St. and Victoria. She needs some changes before she is fitted for that purpose. There is some doubts of such a boat paying on that route, especially if a tug and scow would not, but Mr. Barrett has a special landed interest in developing Victoria as a summer resort, and will make every reasonable effort to carry out his idea.
