Maritime History of the Great Lakes

St. Peter (Schooner), 10 Aug 1868

Description
Full Text

A new vessel, fore-and-aft rigged, lay in the offing yesterday afternoon at Detroit, called the ST. PETER, hailing from Mew Baltimore. We know nothing of her dimensions nor her owners, but she will carry 150 M. of lumber. She is not quite completed in fit out, but is very well modeled and of light draft.
