Detroit, August 4. - The new steamboat TELEGRAPH, is another to be added to the long list of splendid boats which already belong to this port. She was built at Huron, by Capt. Church, and is modelled after the famous JOHN MASON of the Hudson river. Her engine was built at the Novelty Works, New York. It is low pressure, of great power and superior workmanship. It is believed that she will exceed in speed any boat on the western waters. She is intended to ply between Maumee and Detroit, also, on the River St. Clair. Owned chiefly in Detroit. - Daily Advertiser.
