Description
Full Text

A beautiful, clipper built schooner, bearing the name WHITE CLOUD, made her first appearance at our wharves yesterday. She is owned by F.M. Van Sicklin & Co., of this city, and was built at Clayton, N. Y. by Mr. Jno. Oades. Her dimensions are, length of keel 129 ft.; breadth of beam, 25ft. 8 inches; depth of hold, 11 ft. Her tonnage is 320. She is one of the finest sail craft upon which we have ever laid eyes, and will doubtless win for herself a foremost place in the line of our lake marine.
