Windsor (Steamboat), 13 Jul 1859
- Full Text
At the solicitation of numerous citizens, the Detroit & Milwaukee Railway Co. have placed their fine stm. WINDSOR at the disposal of the public, for afternoon excursions during the hot weather. An excursion is given every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday afternoon, at 3:00, from the wharf of the Railway Co. The river affords the coolest and most pleasant resort during the present insufferably hot weather, and it is really a benefit that
the public will appreciate to have a comfortable steamer upon which they can feel the utmost safety, on which to take their families for relief from the close and suffocating atmosphere of the city.
