SHIP BUILDING. - Messrs. Mason and Bidwell are now working over one hundred and fifty men on the repairs of propellers. They are rebuilding the propellers MOHAWK and POTOMAC, belonging to the Western Transportation Company, at an expense of about $25,000 for each boat. They are also rebuilding the propeller ELMIRA, of the Erie Railroad Line.
The work on the U. S. Steamer MICHIGAN is nearly completed, and has been done in the most thorough and substantian manner. The carpenter work is pronounced equal to that done in the Navy Yards.
