Description
Full Text

The old stm. GLOBE has been remodeled into a propeller, and will run in the "Peoples Line" from Buffalo to Chicago, touching at Cleveland each way for freight. She is commanded by her odl stand by, Capt. Pratt. This, we cannot help expressing the opinion, is a very bad selction, for the traveling community for so good a captain and one so well qualified for a passenger steamer should throw himself into a freight line. Capt. Pratt ought to take his place in one of our first class steamers, where he would always make his company at home and show that he was exactly at home himself.
