A. J. Wright (Steam yacht), 11 Apr 1883
- Full Text
Mr. Charles B. Tuthill, chief train despatcher of the N.Y. Central Railroad has leased the Bedell House, Grand Island, for the season beginning May 1st, and expects to open it for the reception of guests by the latter part of the month. The stm. A.J. WRIGHT will make 2 or 3 trips a day to the house starting from the foot of Main St., and the stm. ALLENTON will probably run as usual from the foot of Amherst St. If other steamers are placed on the river they will also stop at the house. Mr. Tuthill is an able and popular young man, and will doubtless succeed in making the Bedell an attractive hostelry.
