Alpena & Shore Line has been increased by the addition of 2
steamers, one, the METROPOLIS, a new craft, just built at Marine
City, and which will be out the first of May, and the other the
GEORGE W. REYNOLDS, which will run every other day to the Sauble,
and being of light draft will run into the river, therby avoiding
the disageeable necessity of the customary tedious extra voyage
to and from the shore in fish boats. The Shore Line will be run
daily also, and will be composed of the following steamers:
      HURON - Capt. D. Cole
      METROPOLIS - Capt. Goldsmith
      GEORGE W. REYNOLDS - Capt. R. Medler
