LAUNCH. - The new vessel built at Milwaukee by Messrs. Wolf & Davidson, for Messrs. Fitzgerald & Merrill, was launched on Saturday at 3:30 P. M.

NEW SCHOONER. - The ANGUS SMITH, said to be the largest and best vessel ever built on the shores of Lake Michigan, was launched at Milwaukee on the 5th. inst. Her dimensions are as follows: Length of keel, 183 feet; breadth of beam, 32 feet; depth of hold, 13 feet; measurement, 642 tons; carrying capacity, 35,000 bushels. She cost $40,000, and all the work has been done by the day, no contracts being allowed. A Milwaukee paper devotes a whole column to the description of the vessel. The launching of such a boat in Buffalo is not a rare occurrence.
