LAUNCH AT OSWEGO. - A new schooner called the CORTEZ was launched from the yard of Lee & Navagh yesterday. Her dimensions are as follows: Keel, 138 feet and 142 feet over all; beam, 26 feet; hold, 11 feet. She has a capacity for carrying 18,000 bushels of grain, and was built at a cost of about $27,000. She is owned by Delos Dewolf and Charles H. Smythe. - Oswego Times.

NEW VESSELS. - The Detroit Free Press says the CORTEZ, a fore-and-aft vessel, passed up a day or two since, built and launched recently at Oswego, for C.H. Smythe. She rates upward of 400 tons, and is a splendid canal-built craft.
