      The new schr. LIZZIE A. LAW, built at Port Huron and hailing from Chicago, went to Detroit Friday. Her dimensions are: Length of keel, 200 ft.; over all , 210 ft.; beam, 34 ft.; depth of hold, 14 1/2 ft.; capacity 1,00 tons. She will be rigged like the large schr. MICHIGAN, carrying 4 yards. The cabin accommodations are excellent. The LAW carries 4 force pumps, has 5 hatchways, she is strongly built throughout, and all her appointments are got up in the most approved modern style. When ready, Capt. Ed. Fitzgerald, of Port Huron, will take command.
