A new craft called the EXCELSIOR, made her appearance here yesterday en route to Chicago. She is barked rigged, upwards of 450 tons burthen, and is a beautiful specimen of naval architecture. She is owned by J. Kilderhouse of Buffalo, and commanded by Capt. Johnson. - Detroit Free Press
