Description
Full Text

The little schooner JOHN WESLEY, which has lain in the Erie Basin since she was released from the Canada shore of Windmill Pt. 2 years ago was sold yesterday by Crosby & Gunning for the insurance companies to H.J. Mills. The price is not yet made public. The buyers will at once repair her and put her in the lake trade. It is stated she will need from $3,500 to $4,000 to put her in good shape. The WESLEY was formerly owned by the Wallaces of Detroit. She measured 302 tons and was built in Toledo in 1872.
