Sandusky (Schooner), 1 May 1873

Description
Full Text

A vessel called the SANDUSKY of 1,000 tons burden, was launched at Gibralter a few days since. She is now on her maiden voyage to the iron ore region. Her rig is that of a 3-masted schooner. It is the intention of the company who own her to have her towed through the lakes, yet in bad weather she will be able to take care of herself.
