At Manitowoc, the 21st, the GEORGE MURRAY, the largest vessel ever built on Lake Michigan was launched. She is 209 ft. long, 34 ft. wide and 14 ft. deep. Her carrying capacity is 50,000 bu. wheat. She was built by G.S. Rand for J.R. Stauson, of Racine.

ANOTHER LARGE VESSEL; --The Detroit Tribune says: The largest sail vessel ever built on lake Michigan passed down on Monday night in tow of the tug GEO. N. BRADY, her towbill amounting to $200. The vessel is the GEORGE MURRAY, launched a short time ago at Manitowoc and is of the following dimensions; Length, 209 feet, depth 14 feet, beam 34 feet. her carrying capacity is said to be 50,000 bushels of wheat. She was built by Geo. S. Rand, for J.R. Slausson, of Racine.
