SHIP-BUILDING AROUND THE LAKES.
At Milwaukee, besides the schooners now on the stocks, there are two or three more under contract. The following work is being done at Wolf & Davidson's shipyard:
Schooner ARCTURUS is being generally overhauled and repaired at the expense of $2,000.
Scow HUNTER, owned by Wolf and Davidson, has just been thoroughly rebuilt. Scow MAPLE LEAF, is being re-decked. Schooner PAMLICO is being re-decked and otherwise repaired.
The SAGINAW is being recaulked and thoroughly overhauled. The IRONSIDES is being generally repaired at a cost of $10,000
