      Wednesday a new 3-masted canal schooner named the MARY LYON was launched at Port Huron. The boat is owned by Hosea Rogers & Co. of Rochester, N.Y., and will be commanded by Capt. Harry. She is pronounced a handsome craft, and is of the following dimensions: Length of keel 139 ft.; over all, 143 ft.; hold, 11 ft. 10 inches; beam, 26 ft. 8 inches; capacity, 24,000 bu. grain.
      Another schooner of the same model and dimensions of the above boat was launched at the same place yesterday. She is to be called the JENNIE MATHEWS.
