The schooner RHODES, owned by William McGlynn of Detroit, will be sold at auction Tuesday morning, July 18, at Tonawanda. The vessel has been tied up under a chattel mortgage foreclosure. Proceedings were instituted by M. P. Bradley of this city.

      POSTPONES AUCTION OF RHODES,
North Tonawanda, July 19, (8pecial) -- The sale of the schooner D. P. RHODES, owned by Thomas McGowan of Detroit, which was to have been held yesterday to satisfy a chattel mortgage held by M. A Bradley of Cleveland, was postponed three days because the boat has been seized by United States Marshal Compton under a libel for wages owing to members of her crew, to the amount of $123.99. The libel directs that any person having claims against the vessel shall file them at the marshal's office by Aug. 8.
