The new schooner that has been building at Fitzgerald's yard for the past year and a half was successfully launched this afternoon at 3:30. She is 200 feet keel, 210 feet over all x 34' x 14' 3" and about 1,000 tons. She was built for Robert Law of Chicago at a contract price of $43,000. She will probably sail in the coal and grain trade and is named the LIZZIE A. LAW.
