The Detroit Free Press of yesterday says:
      "It was reported Saturday that beginning with Monday, September 15, the steamers ALASKA and PEARL will be put on to run between this port and Cleveland, stopping each way at Put-In-Bay. The first mentioned steamer is now running between this port and Sandusky, via Put-In-Bay, while the PEARL is running out of Cleveland as an excursion boat."

Steam paddle PEARL. U.S. No. 150032. Of 551.66 tons gross; 405.12 tons net. Built at Detroit, Mich., in 1875. Home port, Buffalo, N.Y. 177.0 x 28.8 x 10.0 and 400 Nominal horse power.
